It was my first Fashion’s Night Out and I had a lot fun! The above photo is of the Rock Candy Cosmo from Dylan’s Candy Bar made with Triple Sec, Cranberry Juice, and Vodka garnished with a rock candy stick. Nice and sweet! Check out more celebs and sweets excitement below the cut.

I got to attend the Asian Feastival in Flushing this past Monday and it was fantastic! A great mix of samples from diverse Asian restaurants, as well as lectures, demonstrations, and an Asian green market too! (pictured above – Dduk sweet rice cakes).

You know we adore Jacques Torres here at City Sweet Tooth, so I was really excited to see that he’ll be taking part in The New York Culinary Experience this October! Imagine taking classes with Jacques, Pichet Ong, David Bouley and many more! Click below for all the details!

Just a reminder that the NY Japan Town Healthy Food & Green Festival is tomorrow! Madison Avenue between 43rd and 45th Streets (Map) starting at 11am. Johnny Tofu’s tofu cutting demo starts at 11am too!

  Went to CT this weekend and shared an amazing sushi feast at Miya’s Sushi (home of the Seven Deadly Sushi dessert I drew here). Lots of unique creations inspired by various countries, regions, and themes with an emphasis on sustainability. Yay, Miya’s!

I recently came across these adorable sweets decorations and jewelry while shopping at the charming Japanese shop Kiteya in Soho! They kindly gave me the lowdown on these unique items!

  I got the chance to attend a Beauty Bash at Hudson Terrace (the same venue as February’s Global Giving Circle Chocolate Event).

This comic continues my French cheese adventures with my friend Xavier in Angoulême. The cheese shop was in the town’s large enclosed market. Definitely recommended if you’re ever in the area!

In addition to the Chocolate Show I attended Tastings NYC which was held in conjunction and in the same venue. An $80 Tastings NYC ticket would also get you in to the Chocolate Show. Here are a few of the sweeter offerings they had on display. Ruby Et Violette’s drinking chocolate. So good….
