Crème brûlée Raspberry Tart at Parfums Sucrés in Angoulême I went to France again for the Angoulême comics festival and this time we went to Tours afterward to visit some castles. So cool! Here are some of my sweet highlights!

I’m looking forward to going to France for Angoulême at the end of this month, so I made a special bilingual mini-comic for the occasion with the translation assistance of Xavier Lancel! This comic continues my French cheese adventures with my friend Xavier in Angoulême. The cheese shop was in the town’s large enclosed market. Definitely recommended if you’re ever in the area!

  Just had to post these last few France photos on baked goods! Above, you see canelé from Parfums Sucrés in Angoulême! I discovered I adore canelé and will be on the lookout for them in NYC.
