Sweet! Party 2010!
Sweet! is the NYCWFF party that NYC’s dessert fiends anxiously await every year! Full post and photo gallery below the cut!
Sponsored by Godiva and hosted by Duff Goldman and Sandra Lee, the Sweet party rocked as Perrier-Jouët champagne flowed freely and guests sampled desserts by the City’s most accomplished pastry chefs including Francois Payard, Pichet Ong, and Johnny Iuzzini! Adding to the excitement, this year was the first time Godiva held a People’s Choice Award. Guests were given tokens at entry which were deposited into boxes at their favorite chef’s table. This year’s winner was Clinton Street Baking Co. for their Pear Upside Down Cake with Pecan Ice Cream, Caramel Sauce & Pecan Brittle. Keep an eye here on City Sweet Tooth where I will post a comic about my favorites soon! Click the years to see my 2008 and 2009 comics.
