A Visit to La Maison du Chocolat!
Another stop I made recently while researching midtown chocolate shops was La Maison du Chocolat at 30 Rockefeller Plaza! La Maison du Chocolat is well known for having some of the finest chocolates in the City (imported from France).
The atmosphere is a bit austere and the chocolates are on the pricy side, but well worth it if you are looking for especially fine dark chocolate. They are also well known for their macarons, filled with their house chocolate.
I like that they also have a seating area to relax and enjoy drinks. A welcome feature in the hectic Rockefeller Center neighborhood!
