Books of Wonder Cafe Closed?
Looks like the Books of Wonder cafe is closed for now. One of my fave bookstores, it seems like they haven’t had a long-lasting tenant in the bakery section since Cupcake Cafe. Alice’s Tea Cup, then Baconery had comparitively short stays there. When I went in this week I saw this sign from e.e. cookies. Hopefully Books of Wonder (at 18 West 18th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue) will have a new sweets shop soon! Either way, I highly recommend this bookshop, especially for kids and YA books.

The Books of Wonder owner closed the cafe. e. e. cookies did not chose to leave. I heard that books of wonder owner was losing his lease and needed some big $$$ guys to come in and bail him out. it is a shame that the little guys never get a chance. i went by there last week and e. e. cookies is moving to 10 waverly place, inside brad’s at NYU. i know I will be going there often to get these amazing cookies!
