The City Sweet Tooth

Great news! This year’s New York Wine & Food Festival tickets go on sale June 15th, I went last year and loved every minute, so here are some City Sweet Tooth highlights from this year’s schedule! Remember many of these events sell out so get your tickets asap! The festival runs October 8-11, there are great events every day but here are my top picks for each day!

Thursday Oct. 8th -
Chelsea Market After Dark, presented by Food Network, hosted by Guy Fieri and Sandra Lee
I attended last year’s and it was totally amazing, see my full report here. All of Chelsea Market’s delights laid out to sample along with wine and music, it’s a fun and romantic night, and a unique way to experience one of New York City’s coolest foodie destinations!

Friday Oct. 9th – Meatpacking Uncorked
Even though I’m not a huge wine expert this event was really fun, links to my reports from last year here and here. You get a pass and wander through loads of cool boutiques and shops in the Meatpacking District with wine tastings at every stop along the way and some food too. Like a high fashion, wine-fueled scavenger hunt!

Saturday Oct 10th – Godiva Chocolatier presents SWEET hosted by Duff Goldman
If you are a serious sweet tooth THIS THE EVENT TO GO TO! It is a huge dessert and champagne party with dozens of pastries and sweets to try. The highlight of any sweet tooth’s year and possibly life! Here are links to my reports from last year!

Sunday Oct. 11th – Jacques Torres & Friends Chocolate Brunch
This is something new! They didn’t do this last year and it looks so amazing! Go Jacques!

There are loads more events with celebrities like Anthony Bourdain, Giada De Laurentiis , Martha Stewart, Bobby Flay, Paula Deen, Alton Brown, Rachael Ray, Alicia Silverstone, so many celebrities! Peruse the site for yourself and see what catches your fancy!
