Here’s something really nice I had in Osaka at a shop called Ceylon Tea & Bread. They served my Earl Grey tea in a press with a timer and the tart was scrumptious!
On my trip to Toronto last weekend, I got to check out a few places and noticed Butter Tarts as a recurring theme. I’ve never seen them in NYC and was psyched to try something new!
Tonight I had the pleasure of attending the launch party for a new cookbook, The Craft of Baking by Karen DeMasco. It was an elegant event at Locanda Verde with sample versions of the recipes inside the book. Everything was delicious but here are a few of my favorites.
Another cool thing exhibited at the Fancy Food Show were tarts by Daphne. They’re perfect for entertaining at home because all you have to do is defrost them and they’re ready.
